This clay tile has a beautiful green glazed surface. These square "dots" are used as the spacers in between the matching octagon tiles. The boxes are marked with the word Smeraldo, meaning Emerald in Italian. Each tile is approximately 1 3/16” x 1 3/16”, 1/4” thick. Manufactured in Italy in the 1980s by Ceramografia Artigiana.
